Android 8.0 Oreo Having issues with Bluetooth, Android Auto, headphones, and Others - Users Report

Google announced the latest update of its OS, Android 8.0 oreo. Oreo brings some new features and improvements to the current Android 7.0 Nougat. Oreo has made its way to devices like the Nexus, that were on its list of Android Beta Program (better testers) before it is made available to the general public.


Unfortunately, some users are already reporting some problems with the OS, Google posted on its Pixel User Community and Nexus help forum  asking Beta testers who received the update for information about the performance of Oreo but didn't elaborate on exactly what kind of bugs it was expecting to hear about.
Google wrote; "If you are experiencing issues since the 8.0 update, please include the following info (depending on where your particular issue falls):"

Most of the Beta testers on Google's Nexus and Pixel forums have reported issues with Bluetooth connectivity and problems with the audio. Some claimed that they've had serious issues when trying to use headphones and speakers with their devices runing on Oreo, including audio cutting out every few seconds, and "skipping and clipping sounds like a record or CD that has a scratched on it".

Some reported problem that bluetooth connection worked when paired with Android auto but audio doesnt play at all but Audio, while some said that music would play for a few seconds before stopping, with no error messages or other indications of what the problem might be. Others stated that media content isn't being displayed properly.

Some users also complained that while incoming calls were working correctly through Android Auto, outgoing calls were being channeled through the phone's speakers.

Oreo is currently in carrier testing for multiple devices and its rollout will be available for selected devices over the "next few weeks".

Availability 

Google's latest OS update will initially be available to selected devices. According to Google blog : "We're pushing the sources to Android Open Source Project (AOSP) for everyone to access today.
"Pixel and Nexus 5X/6P builds have entered carrier testing, and we expect to start rolling out in phases soon, alongside Pixel C and Nexus Player.
"We’ve also been working closely with our partners, and by the end of this year, hardware makers including Essential, General Mobile, HMD Global Home of Nokia Phones, Huawei, HTC, Kyocera, LG, Motorola, Samsung, Sharp and Sony are scheduled to launch or upgrade devices to Android 8.0 Oreo."
Any devices enrolled in the Android Beta Program will also receive this final version of the OS.
