Some reported problem that bluetooth connection worked when paired with Android auto but audio doesnt play at all but Audio, while some said that music would play for a few seconds before stopping, with no error messages or other indications of what the problem might be. Hmmm... seems google like sweet-flavoured names.

When the rumours of a new android 8.0 OS  broke out, most people were wondering the name that google would come out with this time.

Some rumours claimed Oatmeal was the proposed name while others suggested names such as Ozark, Orelletes but in the end, Google choose Oreo - which is one of the world's most famous cookie, cake or buscuit brand.

How To Identify Fake Memory Card or SD Card

How To Identify Fake Memory Card or SD Card

Whatever you call it; memory stick, memory card or SD card, they refer to the same thing, an external storage used for storing data. A friend of mine once gave me a sd card, 32GB actually, which made me very happy, only to find out it doesn't retain data for long before it corrupts it. That was when I realised it was a fake SD card. So I will be showing you how to identify a fake SD card when buying one. If you make use of a digital camera or other gadget that uses SD card, you are probably aware how difficult it can be to identify if your SD card is authentic or fake. Fake memory cards or SD cards have now spread throughout the marketplace worldwide. Packaging and labels on the cards can make it difficult to differentiate between a fake SD card and the  authentic one.
SD Insight is a free, fast and easy to use android application that you can use on your device to know if your SD card is actually authentic. Within few seconds the application reads the details from your SD card and displays the information in a very easy to understand format. According to the developers of SD insight, " Purchasing and using an inferior quality card means you are not getting what you paid for, and fake SD cards have no warranty - when the card fails, you're out of luck. Also, the quality of fake cards sometimes have invalid partition sizes, making it likely to fail"
How does SD Insight works?
It's really easy.
Download and install the SD Insight app from the Google Play store
• Insert your SD card into your Android device. (Note: its advisable to turn off your cell phone to do this).
• Launch the SD Insight application application you downloaded.
• Within few seconds your SD card information is displayed in an easy to understand format on your device screen.

sd card insight 2sd card insight1

• You can see information such as manufacturer name, date of manufacture, product name and serial number.
• If it displays invalid, it means the SD card may be fake. Otherwise, it's genuine.
• Click the Menu button to see more detailed information about your memory card.

sd card insight 3

After running SD Insight to check my sd card, I got a message “Origin is UNKNOWN”. What does this mean?
What this simply means is that, the manufacturer of your SD card is not in the SD Insight app database at the moment. This means that your SD card may be authentic, but the SD card insight cannot confirm its authenticity.

What are MTK, MediaTek Android Devices

Mtk, Mediatek Android Devices.jpg
Have you ever read a post, especially those related to tech where the writer uses the word " MediaTek or MTK devices" and you wonder what the writer is talking about?. I wrote a post about Android IMEI tweaking where I wrote that the procedure works only on MTK devices and some persons got confused about it saying they dont know what MTK means. You will get the right answers at the end of this article.
MTK is the short form for MediaTek which is a leading Android device CPU manufacturer.
During the advent of the Android OS, leading companies like google, Samsung, HTC etc where the only companies that produced Android devices that run on Android OS  and their Chipsets(CPU or processor) were manufactured using US Qualcomm Snapdragon Chipset.
Currently, Google which is the main developers of the Android OS started giving licenses to other companies, this was how companies like MediaTek keyed into that and now produce their own Android device chipsets ( used in techno, Infinix, Gionee, Innjoo etc) different from the Qualcomm Snapdragon Chipset which devices like Samsung, Sony, Lg etc uses.
Devices  with MediaTek chipsets are easily penetrable using simple android tools like kingroot, mobile uncle etc compared to devices that uses Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets.
List of Some MTK devices
• Techno
• Infinix
• Gionee
• Innjoo
• Huawei
• Hitachi
• Alcatel
• Imose

• Chuwi
• xiomi
• Gigabyte
• Obi
• Wiko
• Pipo
• Oppson
• Zte
• Phillips
• Jiayu

What about Samsung, Lg and SONY phones that has MTK processors?
These are not original products, they may be cloned devices. Most Devices like Samsung, HTC, Sony,Lg does not run on MediaTek chipsets. Only devices like Tecno, Infinix , Gionee uses MediaTek chipsets.
How do I know original devices?
By using an application called CPU z which can be downloaded here
• install the CPU-Z and lunch it
• you will see your all your device hardware information
• the SOC menu will show you  the chip and model of your device written at the top of the screen.
• the system menu shows the hardware component. The models with MTK devices always start with "Mt" prefix. So if your Samsung device starts with Mt , it means its fake.

For some months running, Airtel data plan of N1000 for 3gig has been a big life saver especially for Android users as it has been confirmed that it doesn't consume data excessively like the one of N1500 for for 3gig does. It is also a better alternative to glo N1400 for the same 3gig.
What if I told you, that same amount of N1000 could get you 4GIG of data plus extra N1000 airtime to call your friends and loved ones, using that same Airtel data plan for 3GIG but slightly different procedure. Without wasting much time, let's go straight into business
How to Get Airtel 4gig Plus N1000 airtime
• Get an Airtel sim, it works on both new and old sims.
• Also get Airtel N1000 recharge card • Android phone that has its IMEI changed to BB10 IMEI. MTK devices like Techno,Infinix , Gionee, Innjoo, etc gives a better result.
Procedures;
• Recharge your Airtel sim with N1000 by using this USSD,
       *555*recharge pin#
airtel.jpg
•After you have recharged successfully, you will receive instant 1GB of data and also N1000 for Airtel to Airtel calls. To check your bonus data and airtime, dail *556#, which is the same code for checking account balance on MTN.
• Next , dail *431# to subscribe for Airtel BIS of N1000 for 3GB. N1000 will be deducted from your account and you will be given 3GB. You can check this using   *140# .
That's it, N1000 bonus airtime plus 1GB bonus data  plus 3GB BIS data equals Airtel 4GB of data plus N1000 airtime for just N1000.
Note !
• the 4GB can be used on PC via hotspot tethering.
• The bonus 1GB data works on all device but if you want to enjoy the extra 3GB BIS data, you have to change you phone's IMEI by following the link given earlier.

Your Android Phone is Not Safe ! See Why

android device

Hello team, i have  something great for you today in android device protection ,i’d like to layout my view and experiences on android as a platform. As a number of you can realize, android is a cell operating machine (os) developed by google, and it is based totally on the linux kernel and designed ordinarily for touchscreen gadgets consisting of smartphones  and also tablets. A number of you can also recognise that android is an open-source project (which means that  you are allowed to edit the code, and expand android-based packages and offerings). In case you’re a skilled android developer, you'll recognize there are nevertheless a few things which are restrained and closed from reading and understanding. This brings the questions,
Is android safe? How is our information protected?
The answer to that question is, it’s not safe enough, considering the below reasons
First reason: the working gadget
If you make use of an android device, you could have already understand that many manufacturers install bloatware (unwanted software program) into the devices. They try this with the intention to make a few money with your device utilization and information, and they don’t permit the user to uninstall those programs. Those bloatware programs are used to accumulate exceptional information and normally, the information is shared with 3rd party organizations for marketing purposes. But, android users can generally “root” the tool (device) and gain device-extensive permissions to delete and deploy any kind of software program. Please take into account that when you have rooted your device, you need to be cautious and know what you are doing. If you delete something that is maintaining the device functioning, you will “brick” the device and it might not work anymore.
Second reason : the application permissions when the consumer installs any application
The applications, during installation, will ask the OS  (android device) for precise permissions, which also can make a device susceptible. For instance, in case you want to install a simple flashlight application, which doesn’t want to apply anything else than the flashlight, see what permissions are needed from the app. If it requires permission to study your contacts, to apply your gps location, to paintings as a startup system and to connect with the net, you’d absolutely need to keep away from this software, what would a simple flashlight app need network access, GPS location, contact list etc for. Believe me, even the mainstream apps may be changed and abused in that manner. If you agree to install the application besides, you’ll use it for the flashlight, but the developer on the opposite site can study your contacts, images and private sensitive information out of your device with out your knowing, due to the fact you've agreed to give that permissions to the app. That’s why it’s very critical to realize how the era works, and shield your self from data leaking.
Third reason : net-based totally social engineering, phishing
Even if you are cautious along with your packages, keep in mind that you could nonetheless be tricked with some faux web sites or pics which aren't safe to visit. For example, there are web sites and apps (mainly free versions) which have advertisements like : “you've got 7 viruses in your device, click right here to clean up.” those forms of phishing techniques needs to be prevented as much as possible. Don’t trust in some thing that sounds too true, and it’s free.
My advice to you is: if making a decision to use an android device, then use it with warning. Don’t install any suspicious apps and usually take a look at what permissions are requested for from the I'D. Maintain healthful behavior when you surf the net and be careful what you installing. Don’t download any suspicious files, particularly in the event that they end in .Apk, since the apk extension is for executable packages on androids. I’m satisfied if i’ve helped you with a few simple android-related discussions.
Do have a nice day !
