Prisma, The App That Turns Photos Into Artworks

Prisma is the latest camera app that literally transforms  photos into artworks. It was first released in June 2016 on IOS and later Android , but became very popular over the last few weeks after it took social media by storm. Prisma touched the one million mark for daily users on July 14 and that figure has since skyrocketed, becoming 'the most downloaded app in 10 countries within 9 days' according to its developers. Let us take a quick look at the app that is turning our social media walls and timelines into a digital art gallery.

Prisma uses a network of artificial intelligence to turn photos into artwork images. Unlike most popular photo apps, Prisma filters and overlays are design to recreate photos from scratch and transform it into a realistic digital painting .With an easy to use interface and just like instagram, you can either pick  photos through the app or select one from your camera roll. The next stage is to crop the photo according to the app's specifications, then you can select from 33 different filters based on famous art work.

Developers of Prisma are expected to release more filters in weeks to come. After the filter is added, you can adjust the intensity of the look by swiping up and down before saving the image or posting it on Instagram.

How to remove watermark

Watermarks can be removed on your artwork by going to the apps settings, then disable the watermarks option.

Errors

The massive success of Prisma (huge user base)  could be one of the reasons for occasional server-down errors. It seems the company had to double its server capacity to handle the load.

What to expect from Prisma in the future

In no distant time, according to media reports, Prisma might expand its technology to video, meaning we may soon transform videos and make them look like paintings with moving subjects or cartoons. Prisma co-founder Alexey Moiseenkov had published a 360-degree image on Facebook, which could be how they intend making Prisma video filters look, in the nearest future.

• Download and install the SD Insight app from the Google Play store

• Insert your SD card into your Android device. (Note: its advisable to turn off your cell phone to do this).

• Launch the SD Insight application application you downloaded.

• Within few seconds your SD card information is displayed in an easy to understand format on your device screen.

• You can see information such as manufacturer name, date of manufacture, product name and serial number.

• If it displays invalid, it means the SD card may be fake. Otherwise, it's genuine.

• Click the Menu button to see more detailed information about your memory card.

After running SD Insight to check my sd card, I got a message “Origin is UNKNOWN”. What does this mean?

What this simply means is that, the manufacturer of your SD card is not in the SD Insight app database at the moment. This means that your SD card may be authentic, but the SD card insight cannot confirm its authenticity.

It is now possilble to change the background of your pictures without PC using background eraser app on your android phone. For people who like Designing their  pics especially the ladies, this app is a great one. Before now, i usually utilizes photoshop and corel draw to change the background images on any photo using a PC. I have researched so much on a reputable application i can use to achieve this same result with an android device but most of the apps i came across didn't give me what i want. My research for this continued until recently i came across this app called "background eraser" . After downloading and using the app, i was satisfied at the output as it outperformed other apps in that category so i decided to share it for the sake of those that  derives joy in graphics design or picture editing. It will also serve as a nice tool for photographers to quickly edit the background of any pictures they want with their android phone .

How Does Background Eraser Work?

• As i have earlier mentioned this is an application for cutting pictures and for making a picture's background transparent.

•After cutting and trimming, the resulting images can be used as stamps with other apps to make a photomontage, collage.
